More About Daniel Leos

Daniel Leos joined the TEAL team in 2018 and currently serves as Senior Director of Multihousing, playing an integral role in advancing TEAL’s presence in the multihousing sector. With over 25 years of experience in the A/E/C (architecture, engineering, and construction) industry, Daniel brings deep technical knowledge and a “people-first” mindset to multifamily projects.  Daniel began his career in consulting engineering, focusing primarily on plumbing design for complex healthcare projects that required deep technical knowledge and cross-disciplinary coordination. He later spent a decade as a manufacturers’ representative for plumbing-related equipment, gaining firsthand insight into the sales process and developing long-standing connections with his industry peers and colleagues. This unique blend of technical expertise, interpersonal skills, and years of experience overseeing projects from the ground up, laid a strong foundation for his trajectory at TEAL. He initially served in various technical leadership roles including Design Manager and Director of Design Collaboration, before making the natural transition into a sales leadership role in 2024.   Today, Daniel leads business development for the multihousing market, partnering closely with developers, owners, architects, and engineers. His focus is on expanding reach, growing new client relationships, and delivering reliable hot and chilled water to multifamily developments across the nation via TEAL’s centralized plant systems.  In addition to his accomplishments at TEAL, Daniel is a past president of ASPE Houston (2015–2017), a long-time member of ASPE and ASHRAE, serves on the executive committee for the BUILT Nashville organization, and is a member of Houston, Tampa/Orlando, and North Carolina BUILT. He is well-versed in hot water systems, plumbing design, and central plant technology, and is recognized for his ability to translate complex technical designs into easy-to-understand ideas.  A San Antonio native, Daniel lives in Katy, Texas, with his wife, daughter, and standard poodle, Luna. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling domestically by RV, exploring national and state parks, and cheering for the Texas Longhorns.
