Courtney began her career at TEAL’s sister company, Willbanks & Associates, and transitioned to TEAL a year later, where she grew alongside the rapidly growing organization. Over the years, she has held several roles including Development Manager, Agreement Manager, and Director of Agreement Management, gaining deep insight into TEAL’s legal, contractual, and client relations functions. After beginning her career in sales, she pivoted to managing contract agreements and leading a team, then returned to the sales-side of the business in 2024, with a focus on maintaining and expanding long-standing relationships with TEAL’s legacy clients.
Today, Courtney leads client retention and growth strategy, working closely with developers, owners, and industry partners to ensure existing clients continue to feel seen, heard, and supported. She is known for her candid and straightforward communication style, strong knowledge of TEAL’s legal agreements and history, and ability to connect with clients on a personal level.
Outside of her role at TEAL, Courtney serves on the Executive Committee for Houston BUILT and is involved in BUILT chapters nationally, including the Nashville, Denver, and Tampa regions. She is also a member of UMCA (Utility Management Conversation Association), a national committee that monitors and lobbies for utility-related policies and legislation, as well as a committee member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. A Texas State University alum with a background in business and sales, Courtney lives in the Houston area with her husband, daughter, and dog. Outside of work, she enjoys horseback riding, traveling, being an active member of Citymark Church, reading, and spending time with her family.
